Attend Anywhere 2024 r5

What’s new and what’s changed in this release of Induction Attend Anywhere

Released from Wednesday 6 November 2024

This release contains the following improvements:

  • Participants using mobile or tablet devices can now change audio-and-video hardware during the call. The mobile settings button looks and works like its desktop counterpart and is displayed in all types of calls (individual appointments, group consultations, and Consult Now).
  • Portal and system administrators can now see a list of every active call in the video-call-management console. The list includes each call’s waiting area, organisational unit, the type of call, start time, and status.
  • Call-activity is back again. The call-activity panel lists key events during a call, for example when people join or leave. This panel helps service providers see who the caller has already spoken to from their organisation.
  • The default camera resolution for both individual appointments and group consultations is now 720p. Callers should notice the improvement but remember the video stream dynamically adjusts quality for network conditions.
  • Settings for a waiting area no longer accept after-call-redirection URLs that contain a space. An administrator is prompted to fix the URL before saving their changes.• Consult-UK only. New waiting-area reporting tags to identify geographic regions for HSE Ireland.
  • We now include Microsoft Edge in the list of recommended browsers when inviting guests to a call.

Bug fixes

This release fixes the following bugs:

  • User profile pages didn’t update the last-login date or the list of recent calls. Now, system administrators can see the last time someone signed in and their last 10 calls.

  • In group consultations, the move-people-between-rooms button remained disabled until 2 or more callers joined. Now the move-people button is enabled after the first caller joins.

  • This release also includes many fixes and refinements to improve group consultations. For example, active-speaker outlines no longer flicker when people talk over one another, and the participant thumbnails are now correctly arranged while spotlighting someone.
